Undergraduate Course Catalog for Academic Requirements

The Theatre & Dance Department offers BA and Theatre Performance BFA programs in which selected undergraduates city of angels productionstudy a broad range of technical, artistic, literary and historical aspects of theatre, while concentrating on a specific area. Areas of emphasis include acting, design/ technology, history/literature, playwriting, and directing.

the shape of things productionProspective majors should arrange for an interview with the Theatre advisor prior to their first semester on campus. Early application for a major is encouraged to ensure taking courses in the proper sequence and to obtain the most benefit from Theatre Performance departmental advisement. A placement audition is encouraged if the student has prior experience (other than high school).* B.F.A. applicants are auditioned for placement in the spring of their freshman year.
