Design & Technology (including Stage Management) Interviews
Prospective students (incoming freshman and transfers) interested in applying for the BFA Theatre (Design & Technology) program should schedule an on-campus interview. Please note, you may also interview in the fall of your freshman or sophomore year at UB. An interview is only required for admission to the BFA Theatre (Design & Technology) program, not for the BA Theatre (Design & Technology Concentration) major, which is a liberal arts degree. BA Theatre majors may take all design, technology, and management courses, apply for production positions, and are regularly given production assignments. Students should be aware that BFA students, in good academic standing, have priority in the production position assignment process and will partake in annual portfolio reviews.

Friday, March 1, 2013 – beginning at 9 a.m. in Alumni 195
BFA Theatre (Design & Technology) Interview Dates for Students entering UB in Fall 2013:
Friday, February 22, 2013 – beginning at 9 a.m.
Friday, March 1, 2013 – beginning at 9 a.m.
Design & Technology interviews are held in the Alumni Arena Design Studio, Room 195.
Upon receipt of your registration form, you will be given a time slot for your interview. Click here to fill out the Design & Technology registration form.
A parking pass is required if you are going to park on campus. You will receive one with your interview confirmation letter.
Tentative Schedule for February and March Interviews:
9:00 A.M. – Interviews Begin
11:30 A.M. - Meeting with Molly Casarella, Academic Advisor
1:00 P.M. - University Tour (if interested, you must register online at admissions.buffalo.edu, click on Visit, and then Visit UB Program).
3:00 P.M. – Informal Tour of CFA lead by current Design & Technology Students
6:00 P.M. – Interviews End
7:30 P.M. Evening Department Performance (Optional)
