**The Poor Theatre


In addition to our eight main productions, we produce two Poor Theatre productions: fully rehearsed plays directed by faculty with minimal production budgets. The smaller budgets open up new possibilities in rehearsal and production, allowing faculty and students to work on plays with small casts, provocative subject matter, and experimental styles. The casts rehearse throughout the entire semester, starting with a four-hour intensive once a week and ending with three or four weeks of full rehearsals, six days a week. Tickets are $5 at the door.
