For 2009-2010 UB Theatre & Dance is teaming up with the Center for the Arts and Ticketmaster to offer Flex passes for our season -- 3,4, or 5 show passes bundled at a large discount. The more shows you bundle, the bigger the discount. This year's Flex pass includes the hit musical RENT, both ZODIAQUE DANCE concerts, OUR TOWN, and Vincent O'Neill's production of AN EVENING OF PINTER.

The Poor Theatre
In addition to our eight fully produced productions, we produce two Poor Theatre productions: fully rehearsed plays directed by faculty with minimal production budgets. The smaller budgets open up new possibilities in rehearsal and production, allowing faculty and students to work on plays with small casts, provacative subject matter, and experimental styles. The casts rehearse throughout the entire semester, starting with a four-hour intensive once a week and ending with three or four weeks of full rehearsals, six days a week.
